1974 planting of Moorabool Valley Shiraz from a 3 acre property near the township of Bannockburn.

  • Farmed on organic principles, hand picked, hand pruned, unirrigated.
  • Mixed clay topsoil over a limestone base.
  • 50% destemmed, 50% whole cluster.
  • Natural yeast fermentation.
  • Matured in old French oak hogshead barrels for 11 months.
  • Unfined and unfiltered. 100 dozen produced.
  • Vinified with the help of James Thomas at Heroes Vineyard.
